Search Engine Optimization

Ready to grow your business?

Search engine optimization is a long term game requires patience. Each month you will receive a full report with the keyword gains, back linking information, and a plan for the next month. For businesses who want to grow and connect with their clients, SEO is one of the best investments you can make.

What is Search Engine Optimization?

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is exactly what it sounds like. It is a process of optimizing your website so that it aligns with the algorithms that Google, Bing, Yahoo, and other major search engines use to sort results on specific keywords. The goal of all search engines is to provide their users with quick, accurate, and relevant information for their searches. The better optimized a site is, the more likely it is to come up on the first page of any given search result. When you look at the concept under a microscope, the overall purpose of SEO is to boost the quantity and quality of the website traffic, thereby increasing the sales or prospects.

Why is it important?

Today, businesses are fighting a never-ending war for digital attention. It is SEO that determines whether you win or lose. Search engine optimization can make the difference between a few and a few thousand visitors to your website each month. SEO gives you the opportunity to reach customers that you would never normally reach and expand your growth potential. It just does not have one specific goal, instead focuses on improving the tabletop aspects of the website, which includes traffic, keyword rankings, domain authority and leads. When done right, SEO can produce high returns on investments and be a valuable marketing tactic. We will help you channel your SEO efforts to reach your goals based on your business model, targeted demographics and, most importantly – your budget.

What is the difference between paid and organic searches?

There are two main ways to get onto the first page of a search engine. Paid Ads or organic SEO. Most search engines and social media sites have an option to pay for a spot on the front page of searches. This Pay Per Click (PPC) marketing can be extremely valuable for companies when you have an event, promotion, holidays, or a number of other temporary call to action and it is a service Things Align offers to our clients. The downside to PPC marketing is that it is a short term solution. Once the money’s gone, so is the ad.

SEO, on the other hand, is a long term investment in your company. SEO works with search engines algorithms to make sure your site gets and stays on the first page without having to pay for every click or view. Organic results are generally more trusted by customers because they are seen as results to their searches rather than ads. While a strong SEO presence takes much longer to establish and maintain than PPC marketing, the return on investment can be huge for most companies.

Both SEO and PPC can be used together based on your needs and goals. If you have an event or a product that calls to quick attention, using a short PPC campaign can deliver results. However, if you are looking for long term and sustained growth in your business an investment in SEO is the way to go.

How does it work?

In short, every search engine has a set of algorithms they use to make sure websites are relevant and user-friendly. By optimizing your website in each of the categories we give you a better chance at showing up in the search results.

A few factors in SEO include the pages back-end development, is your site tagged properly? Who else is talking about your site on the web? How quickly does your site load? Do you have fresh and relevant content on your website? Is your site mobile friendly? Along with a number of other factors. We will work in each of these categories to make sure your site is performing at it’s best.

Our Approach

Step 1 : Website Analysis
This was the phase where the strategy building came into action. We thoroughly analyzed the website, the competitors, conducted a keyword research and recognised areas on the website that needed optimization.

Step 2: On-Page Optimization
Once the problem areas where recognized, we worked on fixing the issues such as site speed, metadata, heading tags, URL structures and also worked on content optimization. If we developed your site for you this process goes quickly, if you are coming in from the outside much of the first few months work will be on-page optimizations. Though this was a one-time process, we make sure it is monitored each month so as to make sure that the website was in line with the evolving SEO strategies.
Step 3: Off-site Optimization
As an ongoing process after on-page SEO is finished, our focus during this phase was to deliver high keyword rankings and improved website traffic through location-specific, content-driven link building strategies. Each week, we research new resources to create backlinks. You will be listed in 60+ local listings sites, we will reach out to bloggers and other industry websites, and do everything we can to get your name out into the world.

MK Custom Roofing Case Study

After investing in a new brand, logo, and website with us, MK Custom Roofing tasked us with getting their website and message out to their customers.

The Challenge
Like most local service providers, MK Custom Roofing wanted to expand its presence and establish itself as a trusted company online across Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas. With almost zero website traffic prior to us redesigning the site, getting them into the first page of Google was a big challenge and a big money maker for them.
The Plan
We worked with MK to craft a strategy that could help the client reach their customers in the DFW metroplex. Thorough analysis of the business niche, the target area and business goals, we found content-rich, location-based SEO work would yield the highest return on investment.
Results
Over the span, the website was constant improvement in terms of traffic, website and overall health. Over the period we have worked with MK, we have seen the following results.
